I think that price will be too low for this time of year for ';season'; in the Old City area, with the nights of lights, etc., going on.

But you can always try staying in the outlying areas. Try vrbo.com is my best bet. P.S. I am from Rochester too - been in FL 13 years - never would go back to the cold and dark............... Good luck, keep us posted if you find a ';deal';.

Thanks for the ';heads up'; on what we thought might be a ';quiet'; time to go to Florida. I%26#39;ll try vrbo.com as you suggested. When is a quiet / lower rate time in Florida, anyway? By the way - you are right - Rochester, NY is the land of cold and dark!

Beginning of June til end of September, lower rates would be seen in town, it is relatively quieter and higher rates would be seen at the beaches. Right now is very busy here and the snowbirds have also arrived and make pilgrimages from all parts of the South to visit the spectacular nights of lights in our old fair city. You will love it here, and want to move here!
