Another Hotel Question.......Sorry!

We;re coming to Orlando for 3 nights after our cruise. We will arrive around early evening on Sunday so plan a fairly relaxed evening. On the Monday we intend seeing Epcot and Tuesday going to Kennedy Space Centre. On Wednesday before our flight back to the UK we plan on going to one of the large shopping malls on the way to the airport.

We don%26#39;t really want to stay in a Disney hotel and do have a fairly decent budget for our 3 nights so we%26#39;d like a good 4 or 5 star hotel. We will have a car - any suggestions, help or tips would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Another Hotel Question.......Sorry!

I%26#39;d stay inb one of the nicer ones in Hotle Blvd, like the Hilton or the Hyatt Regency. Very closes to DTD for all evening activities, and practically on property, I think Hilton Guests get EMH like at dis resorts.

Another Hotel Question.......Sorry!

The Ritz Carlton is about as close as you will get to a 4 or 5 star hotel in Orlando. The Hilton at Downtown Disney has a wonderful location and I like it a lot but it is pretty run down. The deluxe Disney hotels are not 4 star-no fantastic linens, triple sheeting, attentive guest service, elegant dining-but have great proximity to the parks. The Hyatt Grand Cypress is also very nice-wonderful pools and the Villas are gorgeous.

Might have a look at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. They are on Disney Property but not Disney Owned. They are quite close to Epcot and the Boardwalk, which will give you plenty of Restaurant choices and evening activities. Not sure when you will be traveling but they are having some nice Room Rates at the present time. For more info on Resort and Hotel Rates check out

Thanks. That gives me loads to look at. We%26#39;ll be there next month.

You could try the Marriott World Centre....or THe Omni Resort Hotel at Championsgate just off the I-4. Both good.

Well if you have a good budget it must be Disneys Floridian 5+

Marriot Wold cntr is nice- bt the beat thing about he Hyatt/ or Ritz is the proximity to DTD. the marriot is a fair old drive/taxi.

I know it%26#39;s not a hotel but the Reunion resort would be nice.........

if you are only staying a few nights it may be worth splashing out on - we have some friends who stayed earlier this year and have vowed never to look anywhere else in future. They are the fussiest people I know so it must be good!

Thanks Gill68. Just had a look at the reunion and it looks fabulous!
