Question about the dining plan

My husband will be joining us a few days after we get to Disney. ?There will be extra dining credits on his card. Upon checkin, can I get his ';key to the kingdom'; or does he need to be present? Can we use dining credits from his card if he%26#39;s not there or does he need to have a photo/fingerprint/signature or something before we can use his? Not going for a while, but excitedly planning and thought I%26#39;d take the kids to one of the ';special'; dining options for 2 credits each.

Thanks!

Question about the dining plan

Everyone has to use their own credits and children have to order from the childrens%26#39; menu so there%26#39;s no way you can use your husbands credits at table service restaurants for someone else. But you could probably use his snack and counter service credits before he arrives.

Question about the dining plan

When we were there in december they only needed one persons card to check your account and your account was a total number of adult and children%26#39;s credits, not broken down by individual guest. At one point during our stay my father and his wife were with us, it was our last day and we had 4 extra counter services that we had not used. We ordered all of them at the same time (4 meals) at Earl of Sandwich without any problem. I does not make any difference which guest uses which credit as lond as adults do not use childrens credits.

As long as your Husband is registered to be in the same room with you or even in another room ( not sneaking him in just to stay a few nights ) the total number of Credits is associated with the room ( the Reservation )When you use Credits they are deducted from the Total of Credits for the Reservations. You can use the Credits any way you%26#39;d like, they aren%26#39;t associated to any one person. You only need to give your server 1 Key to the World Card for your whole group/family. When you check-in all the Credits will be available as long as you are checking everyone in at the same time ( only the person who made the reservation might have to show ID when checking in.)

Are all cards linked together ? So we could give the server any card to pay the bill and the reciept we get back would show what credits are left .

Yes, all the Credits are on all the Cards for each Room Reservation.

You only need to give your server 1 persons Card and the Credits you have left will be printed at the bottom of your Reciept for your whole group. When in doubt of how many you have left just ask any Cashier or Cast Member at Guest Services to check for you. You can split Counter Service Meals and Snacks as much as you want between 2 or more, the portions are quite large at some of the Counter Service Restaurants, we do that all the time. split a breakfast and then a lunch, makes the credits go a little further :)

Thanks everyone for your input. Kids are 10 and 13, so they will have adult credits. I will be booking the room for all 4 of us and will get him the same number of days on his park tickets as we get, so it%26#39;s like he%26#39;s there, but invisible (somewhat like at home!!!).
