If Orlando had not been developed into a major tourist area, then where would you go, and where would the top tourist area be..

for me I would have stayed in the UK, I can not imagine another tourist area having such an impact

Probably carried on going to spain or somewhere exotic like skeggy.

Anaheim is where I first found the Disney Magic and if Disney World hadnt happened Id have carried on there

Come on guys,at these prices,your still comin%26#39; here. NYC, Las Vegas, the nearest outlet mall. In Boston you might even have a chance at a personal guided tour.(for a small fee of course, only paid in British Sterling)

The attraction for many, in Orlando, is the Florida climate, language, entertainment and reasonably priced ,good quality, accomodation + theme parks in Orlando.

However, over the years we have visited areas surrounding Miami (Ft Lauderdale and environs) the Everglades and The Keys. We enjoyed the scenery, wildlife and good quality accomodation at affordable prices, almost as much.
