astonished people found it funny, it%26#39;s great. was actually thinking of trying to get a franchise in theuk lol

but seriously, we go every morning of our holiday. didn%26#39;t realise that was bad. the fruits always fresh, my son gets to eat for free and my hubby has a fry up, with no washing up for $12!!!

when we went to the ponderosa it was fine no problems

ok people lets talk ponderosa

I%26#39;m not really sure why people don%26#39;t like it...for sure it is not a classy or upscale place by any means...BUT....there%26#39;s lots of food, I found it clean, the price is reasonable, the kids can pick what they want and how much they want, food is immediate...no waiting, and there%26#39;s lots of choices. It%26#39;s one of our favorite places to eat while in Orlando. We have none in Canada, so to us..it%26#39;s a treat. Don%26#39;t be put off...try it once if you%26#39;ve never tried it, and if you don%26#39;t like it...don%26#39;t return. For us, it works out great.

I went once for an evening meal...after a long day wanted something quick...it was the worst place for me I felt it was dirty and the food was cold...but hey each to there own. What doesn%26#39;t work for one might work for another..

only recommend the brekkie. lunch and dinner is rank

Is it like Denny%26#39;s?

Do they have scones with gravy?

Completely off the original topic - but what are these scones with gravy I keep hearing about? I read that the gravy is like white lard - doesnt sound too appealing so far - can someone please expalin what this is all about??? As far as im concerned scones have cream and jam on them! lol

Scones look like dumplings but are hard and the gravy is very pale not much taste, not like good old oxo/bisto and usually served with mashed spuds as well, bit like marmite love it/hate it.....

No No No. It%26#39;s BISCUITS and gravy. Something of a breakfast item in the south of America, like grits. Can%26#39;t get any of this stuff up north so I%26#39;ll usually give it a try. Certainly not at Ponderosa or any of those other lousy fast food joints. You have to find a non-chain with at least one police car parked and you%26#39;ll know you%26#39;re gettin%26#39; some good home cookin%26#39;

We enjoyed the ponderosa too, we only went twice but had no complaints either time, the kids thought the jelly cubes were a great thing to eat for brekkie %26amp; the waitress bought me a cup of hot water over so i could make myself a cup of tea. Defo will go again this year but will try other places too.

Never been to Ponderosa, but on a similar theme we have breakfasted at sizzler and thought that was seriously over-rated!!
