what are the good coffee places- beach & old city?

Hi I know that there is a restaurant list..but could not find suggestions for good coffee places...

we like starbucks and would like to know where they are located... but also looking for not so overpriced coffee...and any places that serve cafe con leche? Thanks!!!

Hi BinaUsa i am glad u asked that question best coffee place on the island is Starbucks coffee on anastasia plaza on aia beach boulevard where publix is located. I tried their coffee and it was delicious since u like starbucks u should come to the island when visiting St.Augustine. In the city there is st augustine coffee company on 8 granada street and mystic coffee not sure where there is located in the city.

In the Old City, there is a Starbucks in the lobby of the Casa Monica. My fav is Crucial Coffee on Cuna and Charlotte Streets - not a place, however to sit and have coffee, rather a take out place. She can make any kind of flavors you want. Very good coffee.

Jasmine%26#39;s is on San Marco toward the Antique District (too far to walk from St. George Street - but if you are staying up that way, there you go.)

I forgot to say crucial coffee in the city thanks for the reminder Mahoney :)

if i am not mistaken i saw some benches to sit outside of crucial coffee when i was in town.

Mystic Coffee recently moved to S.R. 207 near the RR tracks (off U.S. 1)

It is not on W. King Street any longer, so not in walking distance of anything in the Old City. Would have to drive to it.

oh there is another one i just remembered backstreet coffee on charlette street.

Bina, sorry can%26#39;t help you, I have never been a coffee drinker. Have a great trip to St. Augustine, though, and fun finding all the coffee places.

Ln don%26#39;t be hard on yourself you are doing your best. Mahoney and I know where the coffee places are so don%26#39;t worry about it.

Backstreets is no longer a coffee house. I used to like Crucial, but have you seen their prices??? A much better option is Rockin%26#39; bean on Charlotte and Hypolita. Late hours, sit outside and people watch, or upstairs for their open mike nights/poetry readings etc. There is also Spicetopia on Hypolita across from the Columbia entrance, but they tend to close around 9pm, and are more known for their teas and tea drinking accessories. They sell Jungle Runners coffee, which is locally roasted, and have some yummy chocolates too.
