Where to stay in May

We are planning a trip to Key West during the second week of May.

The last time we went we had 3 teenage daughters with us and stayed in a condo that wasn%26#39;t close to anything. This time it will just be the two of us and we would like a cottage or a B%26amp;B close to the action. We would really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

Where to stay in May

My wife and I have really enjoyed staying at The Seaport Inn and also at Jasmine House.

Seaport Inn is located really close to the action and a very short walk to the Bight.

Jasmine House is on Center St about a block off the 800 Blk of Duval. You would never know it because it%26#39;s so quiet.

Where to stay in May

We love KW in May, we are going to be in KW the 3rd week of May 2008.

Here are places we have stayed, Ambrosia, Curry House, and Heron House. We like to stay a block or 2 from the Bight (Harbor) and the Mallory end or Duval. Other places in the same location are Cypress House, Key West Harbor Inn, Island City House and Eaton House. All of the above have rooms for $150 to $250 and up. The Ocean Key, Pier House, Hyatt and Weston on the Ocean will run $300 and up.

Don鈥檛 be afraid to call, all phone #鈥檚 are above in the Hotel tab.

Good luck, PJ

We are staying at The Garden House in May - only a few blocks from both Duval and the Bight. This will be our first time there, so I don%26#39;t know exactly what we are in for, but they have a free beer/wine happy hour poolside! Although the pool is tiiny.

The one place we have stayed, Rose Lane Villas, is 1/2 a block off Duval but very quiet. Most units have a full kitchen and separate living room.

Decide soon! Half the people here are booked for some week or another in May, 2008. Take a look...

If you are flying in it%26#39;s not too early to start checking airfares, too.

There is lots of availability left. You can take your time. Take a look here. I have family staying there as we speak and they love it. http://keywestharborinn.com/

Thanks for all the input, we are really looking forward to getting back to Key West without children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

am sitting in miami airport due to a self-chosen bump. we have to sit here for four hours, but for that we received two $400 vouchers on American. not a bad deal since today is saturday.

anyhow, on our first visit down this past week we stayed at cypress house for three nights and then ocean key for four nights. the construction prices at ocean key were very generous. cypress is very nice too, just different experiences. we did inspect the spa rooms at the pier house. was not impressed with the view. they took the nicest rooms and gave them a parking lot view. don%26#39;t get it.
