how can i check what conventions are staying or are on the hotels wouly you expect to see over christmas time i dont wish to ring hotels

The only venue that publishes a convention schedule is the Orange County Convention Center.

Given the fact that the only convention listed for the time is exclusively in the older section of the convention center, I would say you would be safe in any of the I-Drive hotels.

Some associations meet between the holidays, but they tend to find what we refer to as ';second tier'; cities like Jacksonville or Tampa for their lower ';off season'; rates. The holidays are busy enough in Orlando that the convention business is encouraged to go elsewhere.

There really are not many conventions over Christmas- but all the hotels will be mobbed with families on school holidays- I%26#39;d definitely prefer a convention! Christmas is a really busy time to go to Orlando- you may find many hotels booked already- but not because of conventions.
