Water temp in November?

My husband and I returned from Key Largo about a week ago and would like to go back in November and visit some of the snorkeling spots we missed. We%26#39;d like to visit Key Biscayne, and travel south to see Islamorada and Looe Key. But how cold does the water get? We were told it can be 60 degrees in the winter months.

It won%26#39;t be 60 degrees in the water - that%26#39;s more likely an air temp. It rarely gets into the low 70s in the water. A wetsuit is around $10 per day. Have a great trip.

Thanks for the info -- 70+ degrees is a lot better than 60! We both have light rash suits so it should be fine.

We were wearing 3mil wetsuits for lobstering last November.
