Year of a millon dreams??? Anyone been picked for this?

Has anyone out there been picked for the nights stay in the castle??? That would be like the best Disney vacation. I would just go nuts if I got to stay one night there. can you just imagine???

im not sure how they pick people for this, didnt see any evidence of the million dreams thing, still would have been nice to be picked, i believe you can book a dinner table at the castle but the waiting list is quite long, that sounds really cool. ah well we must wait till next time :%26lt;(

There are many things to be ';picked'; for. Last October we were chosen for several things...

First we were chosen at the Crystal Palace to ';open the restaurant for the lunch meal';...we were given a certain table and all the characters came by and Pooh gave us his honey and biscuits. It was cute and the kids loved it. They gave us a certificate to keep for it also.

The kids were picked for a free half hour of video games in the arcade next to Space Mountain and to introduce the ant in it%26#39;s a Bugs Life to start the show.

I seen some kids with free fast passes for the entire day.

Finally...on our last day we were chosen to stay in the Animal Kingdom park for some bonus hours. We were in line for one of the Safari rides and were pulled out and given buttons...it was so neat. So we used our time to go see The Festival of the Lion King show again (it%26#39;s a favorite!) . The COOLEST part was when we exited the park...all the characters were singing to us and waving...just to a group of people...it was definately memorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow disneychicks7 that sounds fabulous, so when we were at epcot at the american adventure and we were told to stand up and introduced to the people watching the show and applauded that is what the million dreams theme is then, we got a cert too, i guess we felt special for a few seconds, felt nice

My family got picked at AK to stay after pochahontas show and meet pochahontas and a redtailed hawk, we got a certificate, and then we were given special seating for the lion king show.

Although we weren%26#39;t picked for the Year of a Million Dreams I thought I%26#39;d share with you a great experience our family had at Disney%26#39;s California park in CA. We were waiting for the gates to open when we were asked if we would open the park. After signing a special guest book we stood in front of the crowd and performed a countdown before shouting at the top of our voices ';Let the magic begin';!! we were also given first seating on the Soarin%26#39; ride.

But that wasn%26#39;t all - For part of the morning only half of the park was opened and the other half was roped off. Again we were standing there waiting and was approached to open this section of the park ! This time we had to space ourselves along the rope and walk the length of the street with the crowd following on behind. When we reached Terror Tower the crowd all pushed forward to get on but were held back while we were given an exclusive ride all by ourselves!!

This felt pretty amazing and all day people were saying there%26#39;s the %26#39;special%26#39; family! It%26#39;s something we will always remember.

This year we%26#39;re going back to WDW and you never know we might get lucky again!
