Need help re where to stay. Proximity to theme parks not significant but proximity to some kind of attractions, shops, restaurants is important. Must have pool(s), gym on site and be kid friendly. Must not be older run down property, more updated or new. Must have patio/balconies standard in all hotel/resort units/rooms. Should be walking friendly area. Prefer hotel suite type room w/ fridge or a one bedroom condo/villa..whatever less the time share presenation or pressure to listen or buy. So far, im considering Holiday Villas, Runaway Beach Club, Bahama Bay but im open to other ideas since most of these i believe will require a car, which im trying to avoid having to use everyday. Feedback greatly appreciated.

Check vrbo.com. You can rent villas, apartments, condos, homes, etc from the owner. There are many to choose from %26amp; reasonable rent. I%26#39;ve rented through here %26amp; been satisfied. good luck.
have a look at WINDSOR HILLS resort on the OLD LAKE WILSON ROAD, built in 2005, on site gym, balconies, great pool 3- 4 miles from disney. 1/1.5 miles from the 192, loads of shops restaurants etc.......... we really enjoyed it there this year
