Island Boat Tours

My husbamd and I will be second honeymooning in FMB. Are there any boat tours one would recomend for seeing many of the Islands? We would like to see as much as we can without taking up multiple days. Shelling, swimming, shopping and seeing different Islands as well as dophin and manatee sight seeing are on our agenda. Any help and recomendations would be appreciated!!

Island Boat Tours

Check out ';Captiva Island Boat Cruises';. We took the cruise to Cabbage Key and it was great. It takes about 2 hours to get to Cabbage Key and the tour is narrated so you learn a lot about the area. The boat stops at Cabbage Key and you can have lunch there and explore the key after you have your ';Cheeseburger in Paradise';.....and then it%26#39;s back to Captiva. (We saw dolphins swimming in the wake of the boat.)

Island Boat Tours

CaptivaCruises.com has cruises to Cayo Costa for shelling [no facilities beach side and very, very basic ones bayside at the park entrance. Useppa and Cabbage Keys are great lunch stops, but aside from a couple of short trails, not much to do - and no beach area. For a choice of restaurants, maybe a little shopping, Boca Grande where you can rent a golf cart and tool around the island. Reservations required, but off season just call a day ahead. Leave some flexibility because not every cruise runs every day.

Oh, there is some decent shopping in the village of Captiva near where you catch the cruise, but shops close by 5PM.

Thanks for all the great ideas!! We can%26#39;t wait!!
