Fantasy Fest Events

How early do you have to get to these events to be able to get a table? Events like the Toga party at Sloppy Joes and the beach party at Hogs Breath?

I%26#39;m guessing fairly early (around 6-7pm) but maybe you have to get there even earlier than that?

It really all depends. If things do not have a cover then some people might be there all day to get a good seat. Some things that charge a cover might close the doors for a bit to regroup and then open them for the event. Its really pretty much a free for all. Bar seats will be busy from open to close and most events will be standing room only. All of the events get very over sold but they are very fun.

mabber for the toga party you have to get there very very early to get a table i went there at 8pm last year and it was all ready wall to wall people i just stood and talked to everyone. maybe we can get there early and get a table on thursday at sloppy joes.

Seabreeze, perhaps we should do a ';roll call'; for the toga party, and the first one who gets there could save a table/chairs for everyone else, assuming that ';saving'; is even allowed!

That brings up a good point. Most ( in all honesty I can%26#39;t think of any) places will not let you save chaires. Maybe one or two if someone is just a couple minutes late but thats about it.

john thats a great idea i will get there early and maybe we can get a table for all of us we will have to see what time if officially starts and try to get there about two hours early and drink there there is a $10.00 cover i believe but its worth it. definately bring your camera. I do have the pictures from New Years i will get you guys a cd with them on

ok the toga party starts charging at 6:30pm to i left a voice mail for tghe manager to see if we could reserve a table or pay for a table and am waiting for a call back. if not i will go earl maybe abround 3:00 or 3:30 and try to get a table

So the toga party is the party to go to on Thursday night? I forget what the other options are on that night.

Heading over to JoAnn Fabrics for the toga outfit before Key West. For those who are planning on going to the toga party, if you Google ';toga how to'; you%26#39;ll come across some websites explaining how to make a toga. Basically you just need 6 yards of a fabric of any color and wrap it around yourself. Bedsheets won%26#39;t work right, says this website.
