Skipping a Disney attraction for something else?

Our two children are 11 and 14 years old. They have never been to Orlando. We%26#39;ll have 5 days in December to see what we choose.

We were going to buy the 5-Day Parkhopper tickets and see ALL of Disney. Now I%26#39;m wondering if we should skip a day at Disney and go somewhere else?

Is there a section of Disney that you%26#39;d gladly give up to go somewhere else in the Orlando area, and where?

Hello chubbytraveler,

For your childrens ages I would recommend Universal if you decide to pass on a 5th day at Disney. I also don%26#39;t recommend Park hoppers. You can see all of Disney without park hoppers. We%26#39;ve found it best to simply purchase the 4 or 5 day base ticket and enjoy a park a day instead of wasting time and energy running from park to park you can be enjoying attractions in the park your in. And you%26#39;ll save some money too!

at this age, Islands of Adventure will be great

I wouold do 1 day each at AK, MK, EPCOT, and MGM. 1 day at universal- if your kids like rides I would do IOA.
