Which is better for a romantic getaway? My main concern is quiet, beautiful surroundings. I am renting a car so we can drive to restaurants, etc. Going mid-November. Thanks!

If you will have a car, I think you will love the Mandarin. They have wonderful photos on their website of the facilitiies... A great location on an island in the middle of the city, a man made beach and a spectacular pool deck. A pricey but elegant spa and a top level restaurant. There are also 4 star restaurants all around Brickell village (which grows and grows every day).
The Angler%26#39;s is almost finished and will be sold as a condo hotel in the heart of the club district. It is on Washington Avenue - 2 streets west of the beach. Service is supposed to be wonderful. But the pool is small and the atmosphere at the Mandarin is far more luxurious...
For your purposes, I would select the Mandarin this time.

Mandarin Oriental or Angler's Boutique?I don%26#39;t know anything about the Angler Boutique, but I do know the Mandarin is the best hotel in Miami/Miami Beach and it has the #1 restaurant Azul%26#39;s.
