Need Help from a Local Expert!

Need help deciding between a standard room at the Contemporary or courtyard view room at The Wilderness Lodge. These are my choices that are in the same price range for the # of days I%26#39;ve selected. Can%26#39;t decide between the two. I%26#39;ve stayed at the WL and loved it but was wondering if the convenience of the monorail is worth staying at the Contemporary in a lower type room?

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated!!!

Unless you are expecting to be doing a lot of ';going back and forth'; from Magic Kingdom and your room, I%26#39;d vote for the room at the Wilderness Lodge.

The Wilderness Lodge is a short boat ride to the M.K. and I think you%26#39;ll love the room and resort much better than the Contemporary.

The only real advantage is the monorail, but unless you are going back and forth several times to the M.K. and your room, that advantage is not very high.

I%26#39;[d choose the Contemporary. The transportation is far superior to the WL since it%26#39;s easy to get to the MK and the TTC(and so to Epcot). The rooms at the Contemporary have been redone and have computers with free computer access.Better dining options by far. You can see the MK fireworks from the grounds of the Contemporary. Far better hotel for a Disney hotel.

Are you kidding?? Having stayed at both, the Contemporary is like a minimum security prison. The garden rooms are about five miles from the monorail, which really doesn%26#39;t help your transportation options that much. I would stay at the Poly over the Contemporary, but in your case the W.L. is far superior.
