disney one day tickets

I have looked into this as well, because we%26#39;re only doing Universal we thought about a days ticket for Epcot but the prices are $76 each.

A bit pricey for 1 day (there%26#39;s 5 of us). Don%26#39;t know about the best park as i haven%26#39;t been yet.

17 days to go

If you are only buying a one day ticket then i would say you wont really get it any cheaper than at the gate. With a four year old i think the best place will definately be magic kingdom.

You don%26#39;t say if you are trying to get discounted tickets for a day, or best value for a daily ticket, because you only have one day. there, hopefully an unlikely event!

If the former, there are discounted tickets available, but you may be taking a risk from some of the ';backstreet'; dealers! Having said that, I got a one day disney ';hopper'; ticket several years ago for about 60 dollars, which turned out to be a ';staff'; ticket. I didn%26#39;t have any problems using that in three parks on that day. I believe security is a bit tighter now!

If the latter, try an upgrade(c40 dollars) with the one day hopper, so that you can visit more than one park. Even with a 4yo, this is good value, as you can pick the ';Child'; attractions from both parks.

I second the recommendation for the Magic Kingdom. Try and end up there in the evening for the parade and ';Wishes';, magical experiences for all ages, but rememember that, later in the year, there may be days when there is only one evening parade. You will need to check the park calendar.!

If you have more time to spend, then the multi-day disney tickets represent excellent value, as you can plan your visit to include a daily ';rest time'; for your 4yo! Visit one park first thing, back for a ';snooze/pool-side';, then out again in the evening.

There are some good UK only deals, such as a 14-day disney ticket for 168gbp.

For the ';other'; parks, look for the 5-day ';flexticket'; which allows you to visit all their Orlando parks, plus Busch Gardens. These days can be taken at any time within 14 days of the first use, they are NOT sequential days! Your 4yo will almost certainly love Busch, if you can make the trip west, as it is a zoo as well as an amusement park. Seaworld will also have it%26#39;s attractions for one of that age!

Have a great time!

Hi bellstorquay

I%26#39;m just back from Orlando, and I%26#39;m really jealous of everyone here who%26#39;s planning their next trip. We went to Magic Kingdom, Universal, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld and Discovery Cove. We already had our discovery cove tickets before we went and we got a 7 day pass to either Seaworld or Busch Gardens free with it.

For the universal and disney tickets, we went to a ticket dealer. A lot of people would recommend not to use them, but we had absolutely no problem. If you drive east on Highway 192 (Exit 64A/64B off the I4), and spot a restaurant called the Ponderosa Stakehouse (All day breakfasts, very nice). There are a few booths outside here. They have a deal with disney tickets, whereby you pay 50 dollars for a ticket for the day (The ticket is in fact a 7 day hopper and someone else has already used it ). You would pay something like 76 dollars for just the day ticket otherwise. Plus she gave us 2 free fast passes to Universal. If you give her back the ticket that night, she%26#39;ll give you back 10 dollars (because she can use it for someone else the next day). You will be asked to put your finger print in a scanner in the parks and it won%26#39;t match the print on the system for the ticket you gave in (seeing as someone else already used it the previous day). After a couple of attempts, they just manually override the system anyway, they guys at the gates don%26#39;t really care. You can just say that you are a group of about 20, and your tickets got mixed up. We used this system for Universal, Islands of Adventure and Magic Kingdom. Very beneficial, and much less hassle than it sounds,

Hope this is of help to you!

Just an observation and a sharing of experience. I have personally seen people pulled aside because their finger prints didn%26#39;t match their tickets. Security is high. Your bags will be checked. While the price seems high, what you get for it will seems cheap after your visit. Why would you add stress and possible problems to a vacation you have been planning and saving for a chance to save ';what?'; 10-15% on a ';possible'; troublesome ticket?

Just my opinion and observation..My wife and I love the parks and will be returning again end of Oct.

I agree with the last poster-why add the stress of possibly losing yur dy at the park to save a few dollars?Plus using someone else%26#39;s ticket is against the law in Florida and so..dishonest.

Just buy one at the gate.
