Walt Disney World itenerary help

Hello all!

I have come up with an itenerary for our next Disney vacation trying to take many things into account including which days are the least busy, etc. and I would love any critisism/advice/help/tips! We have seen all 4 of the major Disney parks, but are trying to squeeze in Blizzard Beach this time, as well as a visit to SeaWorld (which I don%26#39;t know much about so I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s do-able in 1 day). Last summer, we went for 10 days making 5 of them Disney park days, 2 of them were our driving days, and 3 of them were our rest days(staying at the resort swimming or shopping at Downtown Disney) Even still, we were TIRED near the second half of the vacation. My husbands idea of a vacation is NOT walking around a theme park, although he admits Disney is much fun. I%26#39;m trying to keep my itenerary exciting and fun-filled, but also relaxing at times so we don%26#39;t burn out . Any help would be great!

We%26#39;d love to fit in Cirqu du Soleil, but I don%26#39;t want to push it. Is this worth it with kids age 10 and 7?

When is your visit scheduled for (what month)?

I would not schedule to do Magic Kingdom on a Monday, as it is one of the busiest days of the week for that park; try to reschedule M.K. for a Tuesday or Wednesday instead.

SeaWorld should only take one full day to see; be sure to get a show schedule the moment you arrive to ';map out'; which shows you are going to see at which time, then work everything else around them.

Seaworld can be done in a day

Might want to go to MK on a tuesday or Wednesday. Mondays seem more crowded, folks just getting there and wanting to jump right in to the Disney experience.

You wouldn%26#39;t be pushing it, if you go to see Cirqu, it is wonderful and a %26#39;not to be missed%26#39; show. The kids will love it as will you and your husband. It%26#39;s like nothing you%26#39;ve ever seen.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey%26#39;s, Yummy !

Make sure you make your Dining Reservations as soon as you can. The Disney Dining plan has become very popular and the Restaurants fill up fast.

We%26#39;re going the second week in June. I know...hot, long lines. Why weneed so much rest! :) WE will definately be utilizing the fastpass as it%26#39;s a lifesaver!

Yes, it will be hot and the lines could get very long. Having enough time to have a few rest days will be a good thing, hanging out by the Pool is a very important part of any Holiday, go for it.

Fast Pass is a beautiful thing, it helps alot to cut down on the stress.

Why the long lines in june? is that vacation time in the states?

We%26#39;re planning on a late june trip, will there be longer than normal queues at this time of year?

Most kids in the states get out of School late May - first week of June. It is a busy time but quite doable. You just need to Pace yourselves and know that ';everything'; may not get done on your list. We were there at the end of June and it was really hot and more crowded then we had ever experienced but we still had a wonderful time. Using Fast Pass helps alot to speed up getting on more rides. If you plan to stay at a Disney Resort you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, very nice Perk.

Thanks for everyone%26#39;s input. I will probably swap the MK day with the AK day so as to not visit the MK on a Monday! Thanks!

I just thought/saw something else in your plan. I would avoid MGM on Saturday. During June they have Star Wars Weekends. That%26#39;s when we were there and it was crazy at MGM on Saturday. We knew it would be extra crowded but our whole trip was based on being there for this event. If you love Star Wars, you%26#39;ll be fine. If you aren%26#39;t into that, you may want to change that day also.

please..go to La Nouba!!!

I agree with partypa - avoid MK on a Monday if you can. We have made 10+ family trips to WDW and we always avoid that park on that day. Weekdays, each park opens one hour early for resort guests only ....before the general public can enter. We always go MK the day after the early admission day. i.e. if they let resort guests in early Tuesday, we go Wednesday. Park tends to be less crowded those days. Arrive early - 1/2 hour before the park opens, head through the security line and you%26#39;ll be one of the first guests in the park. MK opens each day with great fanfare if you haven%26#39;t experienced it. The train arrives at the main street station with all your favorite Disney characters onboard waving to the early risers. If you%26#39;re one of the first to arrive your kids can get autographs in the square (ALL the characters exit the train and hang here for photos and autograpgh opps) it%26#39;s usually not too bad and you won%26#39;t have to stop for character autographs and/or pictures the rest of the day.....or at least not for several hours. Head to your favorite rides next as the lines are guaranteed to be short at this hour!
