I want to stay there but we don%26#39;t have a car. Car rental around xmas %26amp; new year is very expensive ($800 %26amp; up). Do you know any other way to get to disneyworld? They offer shuttle but it%26#39;s $15 per person to disneyworld. Will it be cheaper by taxi?
I%26#39;m travelling with my 2 yr. old daughter as well, so this will be somewhat a hassle.
Thanks in advance for any tip.

$800 bucks for car hire...how long you staying? I suggest you check the main website as you should be able to get a better deal. try www.usrentacar.co.uk you can book from the USA they are brilliant and i have used them for years. I have booked a Chrysler 300 for a 14 days over xmas and my bill was around $500
I have also stayed at the Marriott World centre.....can i suggest you look at the Hilton on I Drive as you would then be on the I bus route plus i know they do a good shuttle service.
Good luck

Thanks for the tip. Yes, they are A LOT cheaper.
I%26#39;m staying dec. 21st to jan 1st and checked directly at rental co.%26#39;s website, expedia, orbitz, etc, ($800 plus for economy car). I guess it%26#39;s going to be a really crowded xmas in orlando.
Since I%26#39;m travelling w/ my 2 yr. old I think getting a car would probably be the best choice.
Do you have any other suggestion for hotel?
Now I%26#39;m thinking the Crowne Plaza Universal since it%26#39;s got great reviews but I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s too far fr. disney. We%26#39;re planning 8 days Disney and 2 days Seaworld.
Crowne plaza is really nice, we stayed there last year, it has shuttles to both disney and universal.
you could spend 2 days there for when visiting universal etc, and the rest at a hotel closer to disney.
I prefer the Lake Buena Vista area which is close to disney, and there are some nice hotels around here.

I love the Marriott World center so I suggest you stay with your original plan
The crowne plaza seems nice, but kind of far from disney world.
The mariott world center seems very big and I%26#39;m afraid it%26#39;ll be a hassle going in/out w/ my 2 yr. old.
Thanks for the suggestions, but I think I%26#39;m going to stay at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at Seaworld since I got a really good deal on it.
