What is the scoop on NineOneFive? I have seen it on several post but am unfamiliar. Where is the location? What kind of food? Is there a happy hour? Any reviews?

They have their menu online. While it%26#39;s not a place I would ever go, the reviews are mostly positive. I am no gourmand and prefer a more pedestrian diet - their menu scares me.
NineOneFive
NineOneFive is a highly regarded tapas restaurant located at 915 Duvall from which it derives its name. This summer they were invited to present a dinner at James Beard House, quite an honor. I ate there on my trip in September and enjoyed their food and listed it as one of my five favorite dinners on my Key West GoList.
The owner told me that James Beard was so impressed that they have been invited back to cook for them again, something that rarely ever happens. Its a wondeful place with a very creative menu.
My husband and I had dinner at 915 last week and we hope to return again and again. We were seated at a quiet table on the front porch with a view overlooking the front lawn and a quieter stretch of Duval. The service was excellent--fun yet unintrusive and very knowledgeable--and the food even better. Overall, we found the whole experience to be relaxing and enchanting. Incidentally, we%26#39;ve paid more for meals/dining experiences that didn%26#39;t measure up to this one.
Had a wonderful meal there in Sept. Will certainly go back. Nothing to shy away from by any means. Easy going place and a great patio.
We had a great meal there last time we were down.
It%26#39;s now on our ';A'; list of places we like to eat !!!
The wonderful restaurant %26amp; bar called ';915'; is located at 915 Duval St.
Their fabulous food is varied and delicious! The signature 915 appetizer is tuna dome; fresh sashimi tuna with crab meat. It%26#39;s heavenly! The chefs fresh fish with sauce is always cooked perfectly. Their tender pepper steak is divine; the thin french fries are scrumptious! With a nice glass of wine, you%26#39;ll be relaxed %26amp; content.
The friendly bartenders have an extensive wine list, and are happy to suggest wines for you! There are so many wonderful wines, you may need assistance narrowing down your choices!
They have a late night upstairs level, which opens at 8 P.M., on the busier days of the week, called ';Point 5.'; This unique %26amp; enjoyable atmosphere is fairly new. The co-owner Stewart did a beautiful job, %26amp; did much of the work himself! He has interesting %26amp; comfy Italian furniture in one of the rooms, including a couch. There%26#39;s a balcony upstairs if you%26#39;d like a view of Duval St. The upstairs bar is lit from beneath, and has an interesting look! You can order tapas and drinks after 8 PM. upstairs at ';Point 5.';
I highly recommend 915 Duval St. for dinner, for a special celebration, or for a glass of wine. I haven%26#39;t found better quality service in Key West. Their staff are top notch professionals who are happy to cater to your needs. I love this place!
Will someone who is familiar with them please explain to me what the Tapas actually are? I understand them to be appetizers - either cold or warm - and possibly varieties of seafood.
They started as hor d%26#39;oeuvre served with drinks in Spain and usually the food was Spanish influenced. Now for all common terms they are basically anything served in a small portion. It doesn%26#39;t matter what it is. It is also customary to share tapas. Its an enjoyable way to sample and share many items.
Here is something I found that might also be of help.
鈥bout.com/od/鈥aqtapas.htm
At Santiago%26#39;s Bodega (Tapas Menu) a fun thing to do is to leave it up to the Chef what he wants to send out. You will get tapa after tapa and once you are full say '; no more'; but do save room for the bread pudding.
