We are having a nostalgic discussion on theFort Lauderdale Forum about our long defunct Kapok Tree restaurant. In googling, I found a reference to the one in Clearwater now being ';used only for weddings'; but could not determine how old that website was. Can%26#39;t find anything I know is recent. Is Kapok Tree gone completely , or is the building still around in some capacity?

The building is a music store now. Sam Ash music if I recall. I think the garden may still be used for weddings, it is still there.
Sam Ash (well the people at Sam Ash would know for sure) It is on McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater if you need to look up the number or a website.

The Kapok Tree facility is still there and can be rented for private parties. The gardens are still there. Did you by chance find my Virtual Tourist page with pics of the gardens? I use the same name here and there.
