British Airways

HI, i%26#39;ve noticed that until 25th sept, B A are extending their world sale to include flights to Orlando upto june 08!

Has anybody flown with B A to Orlando ( except Hanibel, Templeton Peck, and howling-mad murdoch that is!! lol!).

They use Boeing 777 aircraft for the flights i checked on for may 08. Do they have a similar room to a 747?. Only as i live in Cheshire, i%26#39;m finding it hard to convince my wife to travel from Gatwick, instead of Manchester ( which is only a 30 min drive away).

Also, do they have seat-back screens?

any help would be appreciated!

British Airways

Hello...

I live in Wigan, and we choose to fly with BA because we have never had a bad experience in the 10yrs or so we have used them.

The aircraft all have seat back TV%26#39;s, the economy cabin is pretty much as big as the 747, but without wishing to sound stuck up - we haven%26#39;t flown in economy!

From March 08, there will be 2 flights per day to MCO from LGW, on a Wednesday, Saturday %26amp; Sunday. You can book from manchester and the price will include the connecting flight to London, you can even fly into MCO and out of Tampa or vice versa....

If you need any more info, let me know as I work at the airport and am more than happy to help!

Now that sounds a good deal. Very interesting lads thanks.

Only up to March flying from Dublin!

And not that much cheaper from what I can see. Though it is cheap normally anyway.

can you get Ryanair or Easyjet to LGW and then go direct with BA?

You can but it is far cheaper to go direct from Dublin.

sorry...I mis-understood. I thought you were looking at BA flights from Dublin via Gatwick to Orlando and you couldnt get the availability or cheap price on the DUB-LGW. My mistake

Sorry badly worded- my fault.

I do stop in LGW. But it is much cheaper to do the whole thing with BA from Dublin than from London.

We found that booking premium cabins for an initial departure from Munich was cheaper than Manchester or Gatwick!

The itinerary would be Munich - London - orlando - London - Munich.

Which was cheaper than London - Orlando!

Normally 777s are my favourite aircraft because the seats are about an inch wider than the 747 seats.

But according to www.seatguru.com the BA 777 seats are the same width as their 747 seat. legroom is also the same. I don%26#39;t know whether that is because their seating in economy is 3 3 3 whereas others use 2 5 2

777s generally have seatback TVs

We always have been on a 777 to Orlando with BA

There are seat back TVs with loads of choice of movies, tv, radio %26amp; games.
