What is the best month to visit Miami?

Hi I would like to start planning a trip to US and would love to see Miami.... I%26#39;m just not sure what is the best month to visit Miami weatherwise... any ideas?

What is the best month to visit Miami?

I think the following description covers most of Florida:

Best rates: September (after Labor Day thru Thanksgiving) The temperatures are lower, crowds are less, kids are back in school. But it%26#39;s also still hurricane season.

Holiday / Winter Rates apply from Thanksgiving to end of February. Temps are cool but usually not cold especially Miami, further north we do get some freezing weather. Everything is decorated for the holidays. There are more activites, parties, crowds. Lots of people from the northern US %26amp; Canada visit Florida at this time.

March to May: Rates are lower than winter. Weather is great, most of the northern visitors are gone but then the spring break for colleges start. So some areas, beaches, etc may be very crowded.

June thru early Sept. Rates are good. Temps are high. Kids are out of school so beaches etc will have lots of crowds with kids. June / July usually see a lot of rain but usually passing showers or afternoon thunderstorms. August / September are the hottest months.

Hope this doesn%26#39;t make you more confused! We live in Florida and usually travel to the Keys in May / June and / or September.

Florida has the mildest winter weather so if you are planning your trip around weather I would check the other places in the US you are planning to see.
