vrbo rentals

I am in search of any info on VRBO rentals in the Orlando area. Found one in the Davenport area and it sounds too good to be true. Home with pool for only 470.00 tx incl. for one week!! Any help would be appreciated!

vrbo rentals

Is it help to see if this is a legitimate owner? If so check out the local appraiser%26#39;s site for the County - sorry don%26#39;t have a link as we are in Kissimme, Osceola County. You should be able to do a record search and make sure everything is ok. 470 seems very cheap - just be aware you usually only get what you pay for but this could just be one of those great deals.

Here is the Polk County record search site for Davenport area:

If you know the owner%26#39;s name you can verify that they own the property.

Do agree with coral, you sometimes get what you pay for. But also it could be because of the distance to Disney.

Hi Smitty:

You might want to check out vrbo.com #89715. We stayed there

last Sept. It%26#39;s actually in Kissimmee, Terra Verde gated subdivision.

Approx. 15 min to Disney. NICE place, 3br, 3ba. Check out the site. Their site (as of this minute) states $475/wk. That seems like a bargain for what you get! Have fun!

We have used the VRBO site to book 3 holidays to Florida, each time they were with the actual owners of the properties, not management companies. From personal experience, I lie them, as we have never had a bad holliday, and you can usually view several photos of the property they are selling to you....not like in a brochure, where there may be a picture of a villa, and you will get one ';similar to';, which could in fact be quite different.

470 is very cheap as the tax is 12% I believe so go carefully .Personally I don%26#39;t like VRBO as they don%26#39;t verify their owners and there have been a few cases of rogue postings.I prefer to book direct with an owner .I would also prefer to pay a bit more then 470 as I don%26#39;t think the owner really gets enough out of that to keep the house in good nick-although of course it may be a brand new one and the owner doesn%26#39;t know what the costs really are.

VRBO is a reputable site, and I have never heard of scammers putting villa on any of the several sites managed by the company that own vrbo. Sites that offer %26#39;verified ownership%26#39; only require a utility bill of sorts, it does not mean anything. The best advice is that above, get the owners name check with the County and you will see if they own or not.

Good villas get good write ups on the web. Check the villas name on google and see what comes up. It may even be rated on TA.

If the rental is 拢470 - $940, then that is reasonable for out of season, but $470 is $67 per night that is cheaper than a cheap motel.

If you pay cheap set your sights low you wont be dissapointed.

VRBO Homeaway home rental guarantee

Apparently this is something new: HomeAway Rent with Confidence Guarantee.

http://guarantee.homeaway.com/

Look at the top of that website and you%26#39;ll see all the company rental sites that fall under the HomeAway blanket like VRBO, Great Rentals, A 1 Vacations, CyberRental etc.

';The HomeAway Rent with Confidence Guarantee provides travelers protection (and peace of mind) by guaranteeing up to $5,000 of a traveler%26#39;s payment in the event the listing is determined not to be legitimate in accordance with our policy.'; It%26#39;s free but you have to register you%26#39;re rental within 7 days of first payment.

I%26#39;ve never done it and only happened on the web page by chance. You can either look at this and say : they must have had trouble with someone so they had to do this or they haven%26#39;t had trouble so they figure they can offer this and not have to shell out any money.

We%26#39;ve used VRBO a number of times and had no problems with any of the owners that we%26#39;ve rented from.
