I definitely want to try a cuban sandwich and have some Jamaican food.

Emeril%26#39;s gets good reviews as all the restaurants in his chain usually do. It%26#39;s not classic Miami fare, but for a hotel dining room, it is well-regarded.

There is a tiny place on 5th Street called Tap Tap that is a ';must do'; with island cuisine, decor and music some nights. I think it is just what you are looking for...

The absolute BEST CUBAN FOOD in Miami, hands down! is at Havana Harry%26#39;s Restaurant!!!

All the other Cuban places like Larios , Las Culebrinas and Bongos are wwwaaayyyy overpriced and not nearly as delicious!

I highly suggest you take a cab there if your not driving. it is worth it :)
