147 Hours of Magic

Left Orlando 2 days ago and it all seems like a dream now.

I%26#39;ll start with the important bits of info I know some of you crave. Stayed at CSR in building 5, equal distance to Food Court ( Pepper Market ) and Main Pool ( The Dig Site ). I really liked this location. There were 9 hangers, 7 Bath Towels, 2 Hand Towels, 4 Wash Cloths, 5 Pillows, 2 soaps, 1 each of Shampoo, Conditioner and Lotion, upon our arrival. Mousekeeping did a great job everyday and left us new supplies in large numbers. We had no Coffee when we first checked in but after leaving a little note the 2nd day, they left us a total of 15 packets during our stay. We left a $3 tip everyday. I wanted to test out the Rollaway Beds ( some folks have, in the past, said there weren%26#39;t any at this Resort ). Gave Mousekeeping a call and asked if we could have one, they said '; there is a $15 a night charge '; and we said '; OK';. It was delivered to our room in less then 1/2 an hour. When we checked out there was no charge, that was nice. Not sure why there was no charge.

We arrived at the Parks between 10:30 and Noon each day and never waited longer then 20 minutes for most of the Major Rides. A few ( Splash Mountain @ MK and Soarin @ Epcot ) we used Fast Pass because the wait times were 30 minutes or more. The Crowds, IMO, were not bad at all. By our last day, Thursday, we had a really nice and easy paced time at Epcot. Everything was enjoyable except the HEAT.

Yes indeed it was HOT. It was over 90 5 out of the 7 days and the Humidity was crazy. Had a really wicked T-Storm on Thursday but we always seemed to be somewhere out of the Rain, had good timing on with that one.

This trip was all about the FOOD. Favourite New Restaurant was Ragland Road, we were seated right in front of the stage and altho abit loud for our tastes, the Food was Super. We knew we didn%26#39;t want to have dessert so I asked our server if we could get a Soup in addtion to a Starter instead, no problem. The Mushroom Soup was Yummy, so glad I asked. We also ate at some of our old favourites, Boma and Kona Cafe. They are always Great.

I suppose I could go on and on but I don%26#39;t want to bore anyone. We had a Swell Holiday and when we were offered to Book for Next Year%26#39;s Free Dining, I of coarse just had to. We will stay at Wilderness Lodge Next September, we really love the WL.

Hope eveyone else who was there had as good a time.

9 hangers? and how many of you?

lol

where is this Ragland Road? what kind of food?

There were 3 of us. I was a tad disapointed in only having 9 hangers. We had 12 at POR back in June but we made do.

Ragland Road is at PI, it%26#39;s an Irish Pub. The building itself was the Jazz Club, as I recall, it%26#39;s lovely and quite Lively there.

Thanks...

The first thing my husband does when we check -in ( every hotel) is ask for extra hangers ....lol
